Not that I advocate throwing things off of bridges…

Published by Booyor under Uncategorized

But you gotta admit it’s some relatively cool lyrics.

A special thanks to T. Rose for showing me the way of the myspace.
You should definitely download her music.

What do they do when they’re not fighting Foo? Do they dance with Christopher Walken? Or do they Uno Dos Catorce with U2?

Monster Update

Published by Booyor under Uncategorized

I just finished Monster by Frank Peretti. Great book! I like The Visitation and The Oath more, but it’s tough when his books are so cool.
They’ve got a pretty cool interactive website (now outdated)to give you an idea of the book.

Does this guy like James Bond?

Published by Booyor under Uncategorized

I read this article (frankly, this Wisconsin University has too much liberty with the payroll) and I can’t tell if he hates the films or not. He’s obviously obsessed with them. (All in the name of pseudoscience, I guess.)
I also found some cool games about connecting stuff and ninjas.

More fun than not role-playing

Published by Booyor under Uncategorized

Saturday I played the Star Wars RPG with some guys. Very fun. You can see the websites for our game here.
It may not make sense to those who haven’t played the game, but here’s some cool stats from Episode III.

Pluck the Bass

Published by Booyor under Uncategorized

I got my bass yesterday. I’m already learning how to play “My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean”. I rock. (Or at least I will.)
We had a great date last night and we went to Borders to pick up a Korean dictionary, a basic music book, and a puzzle book. In the new puzzles section, we found a game from Japan called “Sudoku“. Pretty darn cool, but a book of 20 puzzles was 10 bucks. I guess paper is more expensive when you put numbers on them.
But then the good people at Play at Joe’s provided us with this.
Joe, you will always be my source of weird webgames. (Unless I find a new site with games on it.)
Sudoku has been around since 1984, but like Pokemon, it’s now just becoming cool. So, maybe Pokemon is not a good example.

A semi-cool article about swordfighting here.

A cool hockey game here.

And a fight for the universe here.

(And a dork thinking he’s saving the universe here. I am totally impressed by the humor in the trailer. Movie better live up to expectations, man.)

Fantasy Sports

Published by Booyor under Uncategorized

I sat down with a magazine that listed information about football for the White Tornado’s league. I thought that that was a more efficient way than googling “Who’s the best football player?”

I then checked my summer classes and saw that I got A’s in both. Pretty cool.
I rewarded myself by launching some test dummies.

#1 on Yahoo

Published by Booyor under Uncategorized

Type in ‘booyor’ in the Yahoo search and we are #1. Yahoo, indeed!

So…I tried to find some images from the site. I looked for the alien hair.

This is what I found.

Yeah. That’s weird.

In case you came across this site, I don’t know you, and you play Guild Wars (because we all know how likely that is), my screen name is Rawr the Indelible.

Okay…so maybe that wasn’t the weirdest. Try this.

http://www.ericlebofsky.com, you frighten me.

Monster by Frank Peretti

Published by Booyor under Uncategorized

I am just blown away by Frank Peretti. He is such a cool guy as well as a great author. I have been struggling to find male Christian authors that write fiction. Most guys I guess only feel comfortable writing nonfiction how-to’s.
Monster is a pretty intense book. I am not quite sure that I will ever go camping again.
I loved The Visitation and I am pretty excited about the upcoming movie. I liked the movie version of Hangman’s Curse.

I just finished a pretty cool webportfolio for a class. Check it out here.
