PS2…The gift that keeps on…making you spend money? (Like I’m complaining.)

Star Trek: Starship Creator. It was kinda cool. You could tell that they put a lot of effort into the starship creation part.

Whatever you do, don’t get the one where it’s the 3D game RTS. That was the most expensive virus I’ve ever bought. Crashed Mike’s computer, crashed Timothy’s supercomputer, couldn’t even install on mine. I think that’s what lead to Starship Creator. Don’t spend too much money on it. If it’s over 20, it might just be worth it for me to find it at my parents’ and mail it to you.

Ha, our PS2 was a gift as well. Otherwise, I’d probably just be picking one up around now.

Random question- I was looking up Galactic Civilizations II today, after a friend was telling me I should get it, and I was reminded of a Star Trek game that you got many years ago- or perhaps Mike bought it. You designed starships and sent them off on missions. It was amusing, if a little odd. You wouldn’t happen to remember the name of that game, would you?

I hear that. I’m posting from a laptop right now. Pretty sweet deal. Playstation 2 still satisfies game cravings. I’m with you on the 2009 projection. Our PS2 was a gift.

Heck, I’ve only had my PS2 for about two years at this point- I figure I won’t get a PS3 until about 2009. Though I’m sure there’ll be games I’ll be interested in, that’s a lot of cash to be dropping on something that’s just pure entertainment- I’d be better served to spend the money on a laptop, instead.

This kindof affirms the fact that I probably won’t be investing in a PS3 anytime soon. They need to keep the backwards compatible games, though. That is, in essence, awesome.

Of course, if you already have a PS2, why not just keep it around and use it to play the old-skhool Guitar Hero(s), and then buy the new one with the super-cool new über-guitar, which you’ll probably have to do anyways when it’s first released?

It’s very addicting. Keep in mind that you’ll want the guitar (usually, I say, “Eh. Make do like our ancestors did when they played Pac Man.” but, really, I imagine it would just be pressing a lot of colored buttons)
