Have you ever been to Iowa or Denmark to know which is cooler….just wondering about the motivation behind the shout out
I have indeed been to Iowa.

Oh, don’t misunderstand me- Iowa’s fine in my eyes. I can’t hold ill will against any place my father was born. But I was responding to the question posed in the entry title. I say Denmark is cooler than France. I do admit, however, that I may still be suffering backlash against France after certain teachers in high school.
I remember. Imagine me suggesting that Louis XIV’s spending habits brought about the French Revolution years later. And when I brought up the Hugueonots…ho boy.
(I know this sounds like I’m making it up, but I’m not. A certain Ed and I recorded our voices as the new error beep. She really didn’t know what to think about the Art Laserdisc Show. But I did learn a lot in the non-French parts of the class.)
