Mentos and Mutants

Our gaming group has found a vacation from the Galactic Empire for a little bit. You can find Mutants and Masterminds here. When we start playing that, you can expect a new look on ComicLife for the Mac. I’m excited. Don’t fret, though. We are still playing Star Wars. My Gand findsman says so. (Yeah, an Imperial sentinel took The Wanderer’s life last Friday. I mean, the thing has a 4 meter reach. That’s a big pike.) I’ll also be putting up some resources for RPG fans soon.

Today at school, one of the people from the district office took over my computer. I saw my mouse cursor moving around. I grabbed the mouse and we had a battle of wills, of sorts. (I’m actually friends with the person who I found out later had taken it over.) I was just trying to leave him a message in Microsoft Word.

And, why the Mentos?

Why not?

Here’re the videos.

  1. Just as our group starts up a Star Wars campaign. I’m playing a Caamasi Jedi Scholar. I’m pretty close to useless when it comes to combat, but I’m okay with that. That is why we have a Wookiee.

  2. Not too bad with a Caamasi, really. A pair of jump boots and a snoop tracker homing device can be effective, too. Either that or the sonic disruptor. 5d6 damage.
    That and detonite.

Now that Lofryyka took out Vader, the Inquisitorium is super-strong, there’s lots of rampant Sith, and some green guy with pointy ears and an old man calling himself Kenobi have captured a super weapon to restore order to different systems.

Moral of the story: Wookiees are a force to be reckoned with.

(The Wanderer, my cowboy guitar Force-user-in-denial died. My Gand findsman is pretty fun. 50 credit wager with Mike’s character to race to see who could take out the Grand Inquisitor first. Counting fallen Sith troopers like Legolas and Gimli.)
If you’re interested, I put up a lot of our group’s Star Wars RPG resources here.

Libya is a land of many contrasts.
