Heroes is like Snickers

The Haiku
“Four Months Ago” was
satisfying. I was stoked
to see the Big Boom.

  1. Agreed, that’s probably one of my favorite episodes so far this season, despite the lack of Hiro. It was pretty much made up for by the D.L. storyline, which was just so sad, and introducing us to Adam. I’m interested to see where his story goes- is he still somewhat evil, or has he lived long enough to see some of his selfish ways redeemed?

I was also wondering, if he’s Adam, who’s Eve? Is he the first mutant hero? Just a thought.

  2. I thought that DL the firefighter was pretty cool. Full turnaround for a Greek/Shakespearean tragic hero.

Never thought about the whole Adam and Eve thing. But I do wonder if Adam Monroe’s idea of “Peter, let’s go save the world” is to wipe out the rest of mutantkind (starting with Hiro Kensei).

  3. I don’t know- 400 years is a long time to hold a grudge over a girl, and someone trying to kill you. Plus, if Peter’s got his memory back, he should remember Hiro, so hopefully he won’t be on-board with killing him.

It is curious, though- if Adam is evil, he has positioned the person best suited to stop him as his right-hand man. Peter knows the secret of stopping the regeneration, plus he’s been in close quarters with the Haitian, so it is a possibility he has picked up the power nullification ability.

I’ve also had wonders about if Claire is really Nathan’s daughter. Matt got pretty much the same powers as his father, is it possible Claire did too? Particularly if Adam’s supposedly been in a Company facility for thirty years. We’ve really only got Claire’s mom’s word for it, and she didn’t necessarily seem to be the most trustworthy sort. I’m also curious what some of the previous generation had for powers, particularly the Patrelli parents.
