A Message from a Brother

Just got this e-mail (I have a couple of family members over seas as well as a bunch from church. Keep these men and women in your prayers (not just the ones connected to me)).

I also have a prayer request. I have been in Iraq for 8 months now. My first few months were filled with daily mortar and/or rocket attacks. I have had a couple close calls. If fact, I was involved in one incident where even the explosives experts cannot explain why I was not injured. I have no doubt that He is watching over me. The past two months have been relatively quiet. I am about to celebrate Christmas in Baghdad and I would like to ask everyone to pray for a quiet Christmas in Iraq.

I would also like to ask everyone to pause for a minute and think about all the people here trying to help the Iraqi people establish and maintain a free and democratic nation (to include the Iraqi’s). Pray that God’s will be done in Iraq and that all the sacrifices made will have not been made in vain.

Have a blessed CHRISTmas!
