Today would have been Grandpa Bob’s 76th birthday. I felt moved by the Spirit to put up some sermons that Scott sent me this week.
This is a continuation of the Robert Girard Project.
The sermons are:
God’s “Equity Service” Fund
Advent 2006
Today You Will Be With Me In Paradise
Too poor to buy an undershirt for a mosquito? That’s funny. And the Mr. Bigg connection to the talents parable is SO Grandpa Bob’s voice.
I cannot tie this all into a neat bundle, so you can go away saying, “Wasn’t that a nice sermon?”
Genius, Bob. Genius. Happy Birthday.

Thanks so much for your continued love and conviction for this project. Your love shows. God bless and establish this work of your hands. Love,AG
Audrey,
I am the husband of a Girard descendent. My wife is second cousin to Robert.
I have seen a copy of a letter written by Carol Gregg to my wife’s sister, Audrey Moe, in Montana. The letter is about a Girard reunion in 1987.
My hobby is genealogy. I think Carol knows a lot about the Girard family. If you read this, can you please have Carol send me email message or write to me. I would very much appreciate it. I do not know of other ways to reach her.
We’ll pass it on to Carol. We’re actually with Girard family right now.
Wow, while writing a note about my own pastor’s preaching, suddenly I thought to google Robert Girard…and here I am!
The Lord initiated my life as His daughter in Sep., 1968 when I was a member of Our Heritage. Pastor Bob preached the Word and the Holy Spirit regenerated my heart to repent and believe the gospel. It has been a life of many heartbreaks, but peace and joy are mine since studying the works of the great Reformers.
I have often affectionally recalled Bob, Audrey, their family and the many loved ones from OH. I have the sermon typed by Bob for my “Papaw” Newman’s funeral. His text was from Proverbs, “Blessed in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints”.
I send love to Audrey and the family and would welcome correspondence from them. I live in NC.
Loved by His Grace Alone,

I passed on the comment to Audrey. Thanks!
Thank you! I will enjoy reading Bob’s sermons.
