  1. I read the Amulet last night. Very cool. Good story, if somewhat sad, and I loved the artwork. I’m looking forward to the next one.

    Many thanks for the suggestions. I’d forgotten that Animalia existed, but I do recall now that it is massive amounts of cool. I’d probably go for the Jane’s guide- I figure he needs a good challenge- but I think that one you linked is a little outside of my price range…
