Not Green Party. Sauron is pretty far right wing. Very pro-military and for increasing governmental powers in everyday life. He also has some questionable expansionist policies. He’s got some ties to industrial types, so I’m assuming he’s not drawing big from the environmental vote. Definitely not the type to wait around for international consensus- he’s not going to do well with the UN, I’m pretty certain of that.

I changed my mind he is from the Green party wanting to clean up elections and the world….also look at the pretty green grass love it, and I have no idea what all of the discussion is about. I like to research people before I support them (or call my tall brother-in-law and get his research)

Oh, another note. If Sylar really is a Petrelli*, then I’m retroactively amused by the line from the (original) future, when he’s pretending to be Nathan and gets into the fight with Peter. “Brother versus brother. It’s almost biblical.” Would that mean Sylar’s signature attack is a sort of Mark of Cain?

*And really, who isn’t? Aren’t we all, in our ways, Petrellis? By which I mean to say genetically. It certainly seems like that, anyway.

No, though I predicted that a while ago. This one was in reference a power I had forgotten Sylar had. Or, rather, that Gabriel had.

Also, if Sauron isn’t drawing the name recognition with voters, maybe there’s a need for a “R2-D2/C-3PO: These are the droids you’re looking for” sign.

My vote is for Frodo and Sam also I have no idea who this Sauron is you speak of is and his name is in my yard…jeeezzzz if you are going to force me to promote some crazy movie character at least pick one that I have heard of, and yes even in North Carolina we are watching you…can’t get nothing past us (if it’s on your blog).

Absolutely the highlight of the episode for me.

Low point- Peter running down the alley, and my sudden need to yell at the TV, “Hey, if only you could turn invisible and fly!”

The nerdiest moment- Morgan and I trying to remember what other powers Sylar had in the future, when he was pretending to be Nathan, and resorting to using *my* superpowers- Googling and Wiki-ing.

Actually, I might have a superpower- accidental prophecy- but I’ll leave that story out in case someone hasn’t seen the episode yet.

Frodo and Sam would get my vote. They know what it’s like to resist the temptation to use power and authority for their own gain.

And I like their accents. Much more enjoyable State of the Union speech.

If those were real possibilities I’d actually vote for Sauron because I’d know he’d be hard on illegal immigration…in fact.. he’d be hard on everything.

Palpatine is closer to what real politicians do when it comes to manipulation and getting you to believe everything they want you to believe.

Very nice. Somewhere, I’ve got a “Palpatine for Senate” campaign sign that I made, using quotes from the first two movies. If I was any good at video editing, I’d put something together using that.
