Kid Crucifixion
Our small group kids decided to put on a dinner theater (theatre, if you will) while we ate homemade ice cream. They came up with it all on their own. It’s one thing to act out a manger scene, or Adam and Eve, like they did before.
But these kids know their stuff.

Bob Kauflin (not in the video, but he does have a beatboxer coming to a worship conference) is a great worship leader (check my reactions to Band on the Run) that has helped shape our philosophy as a worship team; to get out of the way to serve the lyrics/serve the King.
And beatbox.
I enjoyed puting the ping crown on young adventurers head and falling assleep with the dog wisperer ontop of the “tomb” which was later a “dining table”. it was so fun!!!
I think the soundtrack choice was excellent. We should have them perform it again next week with better lighting and recording equipment.
It’s rumored that the lighting choice was made to line up with the Ingmar Bergman/Max von Sydow school of film.
Could be just a rumor, though.
If anyone asks, just tell them, “Sjunde inseglet”. Obviously.
